14th February, Day of love, day of
lovers. They say, “Hearing I love you too is the real fortune not I love you.”
Very true statement, because it is not necessary
that if someone loves you, so you will also do. Or if you love someone so that
person will love you too. Ergo, when you say I love you to someone and you get
positive response with four magical words ‘I love you too’ that is real blessing.
But there are many people who are against love, or
we can say that they don’t even believe in love.
Some says, “Love is nothing, just a stupidity of the
teenage”
“There is nothing like love, it’s just a crush for few moments.”
“One should love his family only; love with a stranger is freak.”
Few days ago, I met a person, we were talking,
suddenly the topic of love came and he asked, “What is the ultimate destination
of love?” I was silence then he said, “Sex of course, and I don’t understand if
we want sex end of the day then why we need to go all through this stupidity,
like; dating, long conversations on phone and all drama?” I was speechless that time. Or I can say that I didn’t want to
argue because I don’t like argument on endless topics (love is one of them).
May be he was right in his own way but I do not
agree with his statement. Now, a question comes in my mind that “what is the
ultimate destination of life?” That is death of course so should we stop living our life? No we can’t. Because it
makes us learn many things about ourselves. Journey of life teaches us the meaning of our
existence.
There is a factor in
our life “Learning”. Learning is a verb not a noun. Wherever we go, journey teaches us many things
but if we’ll disappear from one place and reach another (our destination)
it will be for completing the purpose only. You can imagine, you go from your
home to school so you meet new people every day, you enjoy sunshine, rain or
fog in the way but appearing directly to school will make you miss all those
things which help you to know this world.
Just like this, love
makes you learn many things about you and your partner; you share, care and
love. After knowing each other you come to sex, yes that is ultimate
destination of love but when you have sex with your partner you know everything
about your partner. You can also have sex with prostitute, you don’t need to go
all through this process of stupidity (as he said) but different will be clear.
Sex with the prostitute will be fun only but sex with your loving partner whom
you know; whom you love will be the relief of heart and the beginning of new
bond.
It’s not only about
reaching to the destination; it’s also about enjoying the journey which gives
real fun. So start your journey of love because this is not stupidity and if
you think it is then journey of life is also stupidity because at last you have
to die, so what’s in living?
