Seedhi si baat hai bhedbav nhi hona chahiye, gora-kala koi bhi ho barabar hai. Lekin hume ye bhi pata hai ki agar ye baat koi kala insan kahe to log nhi sunege. kyu? kyuki hum gore logo ko khoobsurat samjhte hain aur agar wo ye baat kahe ki gore-kale me koi farq nhi to log sunege. Koi kala insan ye baat kahe to yhi hoga ki ye to kala hai ye to apne aap ko unke barabar btana hi chahega.
Jinko phle se hi neecha smjh rakha hai unki koi nhi sunta, ye ek kadwa sach hai. To is samaj me jinhe upar samjha jaata hai unhe zimmedari lene ki zarurat hai bhedbav ko khatam krne ke liye.

- Gore kahe, “Khoobsurti dil me dhundo shakal me nhi, rang me nhi”

- Upper cast wale kahe, “Kuch oochi neechi jati nhi hoti sab barabar hain”

- Ameer kahe, “Gareebo se bhi vaise talluq rakho jaise humse”

-  English bol skne wale kahe, “Hindi ya apni koi bhi zaban bolne me koi burai nhi hai balki garv hai”

- Straight kahe, “Homosexuals aur Transgender bhi humare jaise hi aam insan hain, wo bas ek aur sexuality hai”

- Ladke kahe, “Ladki ghar ki zeenat/Laxmi hoti hai”

The reason behind telling you that she is sister of a bollywood star and belong to a well known family is only to clarify that depression can happen to anyone, like literally to anyone. This book does the same thing, it tells you that how a privileged person can also face mental issues and suffer. Shaheen Bhatt has written her experience from begining to the very day, that how her struggle with depression started and how she fought back.
